Wow, talk about a heroic turn of events at the local lionfish derby! We just received a call from some very grateful divers reporting that team Salt Shaker, also competing in the Marathon Premier Sailfish Tournament, came to their rescue as they were being swept out to sea. Day One of The 4th Annual Marathon Premier Sailfish Tournament has officially concluded! After an exciting finish with 7 vessels hooking up in the last 10 minutes, Team Killbox finishes the day at the top of the leaderboard. Angler Mark Busch with another release aboard the Main One and Executive Decision's Sammy Milazzo just released a Blue Marlin! This is a sailfish only tournament but what a cool catch! Pictured below is Lauren Anderson as she caught her Sailfish aboard the Main Attraction earlier today. 10 minutes to go good luck everyone!
After another flurry of activity team Main One's Mark Busch released a sail. Followed by a doubleheader from Spencer Jackson and Paul Sabayrac on Team Potencia. Followed by another double-header from anglers Phillip Bryan and Jose Boza of team Killbox putting them in 1st place with just over two hours to go!
